Teenager Bianca Andreescu increase lasted as hit the final four of the US Open and she came from a set to sink down Elise Mertens.

“Elise played really, really well so I tried to stay calm. I was getting upset. I told myself to remain calm and stick to the strategies.”
Andreescu will play Belinda Bencic, the seed, even at Thursday night.
“It’s certainly not going to be simple,” added Andreescu. “She is an unbelievable player but I can play my very best tennis.”
